Brenda Holden
Brenda spent her formative years in the foothills of Adelaide. Hiking around the waterfalls in the area, she grew to love the many varieties of birds found there.
As a young woman, Brenda spent many years in Broken Hill and outback Western Australia, all the while gaining an appreciation of the native wildlife. Since then further extensive travelling to country and outback areas has given authenticity to the habitats depicted in her paintings.
Having worked mainly on commissions early in her career, she started to show her work in the late nineties which led to her winning many prestigious awards.
Her Studio is in a historic 1860's Cottage in Washington St Goolwa North.
Brenda works in oils, acrylic and watercolour & is known for her colourful & detailed bird studies. Her work is in constant demand particularly her wren, wedgetail eagle, red tail black cockatoos, pelicans & various parrot paintings.
Brendas has a wonderful selection of prints, framed or unframed, and an assortment of cards available for sale.
